Are you experiencing the weight of life from current or past events? Life is hard, and we all have struggles with relationships, with ourselves, or with directions in life. As a result, we may experience anxiety, depression, or simply feeling lost. The recognition of our shared human condition is what motivated JJ to become a counselor, and she endeavors to use her training and life experiences to accompany her clients through the terrain of life and facilitate the exploration of wellbeing and purpose of life.
JJ enjoys working with adults and couples. Her specialties include: anxiety-associated challenges such as panic attack, childhood trauma, addiction, and PTSD; relationship challenges for individuals and couples; and transition-related challenges such as divorce, grief, and other Non-death losses. JJ uses an integrated approach of narrative, EMDR, ART (Accelerated Resolution Therapy), and somatic therapy to meet clients at where they are. Technique aside, JJ believes in the healing power of relationships and connections, and she strives to provide an environment for clients to have meaningful engagement with oneself and with others, and to heal, grow, and flourish.
